1. Floating breakfast at the hotel's ocean-fed infinity pool! ☕️

2. Ladder to the sea! (there are a few of these ladders around the property so you can easily slip in the sea for a swim! Or if you prefer you can jump off! 🪜

3. Outdoor yoga at the spa's pavilion! Def do first thing in the morning or at sunset when it's cooler outside!

4. The room! Yes, after too much sun, it's always great to chill in the room with some AC on! 🏡

5. The room's balcony! Perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or tea in the morning in your bathrobe and look out at the sea views! 🌊

6. The outdoor bar! The views here an amazing so grab a barstool and enjoy a cocktail with a view! 🍹

Blue Mahoe is a restaurant located on the West End

Blue Mahoe is a restaurant located on the West End cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Here you can dine seaside and catch the most stunning sunset views in Jamaica! I loved the unique farm-to-table food concept. ingredients are sourced locally and in season! And I also loved that the chefs here prepare a wide variety of local and International dishes, from traditional Caribbean dishes like jerk chicken, oxtail and Escovich snapper, to seafood, steak, pizza and pasta! You don't need to be a hotel guest to visit! The restaurant also has cooking classes if you want to learn how to cook your favorite Jamaican dish!

Here are my favorite dishes I had at Blue Mahoe for breakfast, lunch, and dinner :

🥞breakfast: traditional Jamaican breakfast is tied with the coconut French toast!

🍴lunch: jerk fish tacos

🥘dinner: curried shrimp with rice and peas

☀️When you book your massage at the outdoor spa, ask for Winsome! She gives the best massages ever!

☀️The restaurant Blue Mahoe serves both traditional Jamaican dishes and American cuisine and is a farm-to-table restaurant!

☀️You can have a beautiful floating breakfast in the hotel's infinity pool for an extra fee of $30!

☀️Day 1:

- Start the day with breakfast at Ms. Dawn's/Smurf's Café, a local favorite for traditional Jamaican dishes.
-Visit Frenchman's Bay, a popular beach in the heart of Treasure Beach including a stop by Eggy's Beach Bar- try a rum n ting or rum punch!
-Visit local shops, Callaloo, Robert's Craft Shop in Treasure Beach, where you can find handmade bags, clothes etc and support community artisans.
-Try classic Jamaican favorites at Diner's Delite Cookshop - grab lunch to go and eat at your Villa
-Enjoy pool time and drinks at your Villa and watch the sunset
-Dinner at Pan A Knock offering unique Jamaican flavors (try the garlic shrimp! trust me on this!)
-Hit a local bar for some karaoke or dominoes

☀️Day 2:

-Start the day with breakfast at your villa - Embark on a private boat ride to Floyd's Pelican Bar and spend the day at the bar- swimming, drinking and playing dominoes. Have a lunch there!

-Have dinner at Lobster Pot for seafood or try Jack Sprat's jerk chicken pizza!

☀️Day 3:

- Have Breakfast at your Villa
- Take a walking tour with Lillieth Lynch and leave the history of Treasure Beach
- Explore Billy's Bay Fishing Beach, where you can interact with local fishermen and enjoy the tranquil surroundings
-Visit Cynthia's fruit stand for coconut water or fruits
-Have dinner at Ki's on the Beach, a seaside restaurant and bar and watch the sunset

For 84$ per person/night, this black owned & locally managed 2 bedroom villa in Treasure Beach, Jamaica is the perfect place for a group trip or couples trip! It sleeps up to 5 ppl and has incredible views of the sunset AND Caribbean Sea from the infinity pool. The beach is only 10 mins away and another highlight for me was the staff- Natalie is an incredible cook who will take great care of your group! Ask her to cook you her signature dish- coconut curried lobster alongside other Jamaican dishes! Her cooking was delish! 😋Villa rates start at $420 per night which is only $84 per person for a group of 5!
